I have recently been struggling with very intense anxiety panic attacks that seemed to have come on all out of a sudden. I always thought I knew what anxiety was and what it was like for people who feel anxious on a regular basis but I was very, very wrong.
Unfortunately I am now very aware of what it is like to have anxiety and have recently been diagnosed as having Generalized Anxiety Disorder or GAD. Know that I know the reason for my feelings it is a little easier to try and make sense of however when the anxious feelings and panic attacks started I was terrified. I didn’t want to think and yet I couldn’t stop thinking. I was scared. I was worried. I was confused and I felt alone (even when surrounded with loved ones).
One thing I did when I was scared was turn to the internet, specifically quotes about anxiety and panic attacks on pinterest. Seeing quotes that I could relate to made me feel less alone. It helped, even if only a bit. This is why I have put together these quotes, in hopes that they will help someone else who is struggling with anxiety!
