Popular oils to use, alone or together, include lavender, marjoram, peppermint, and rosemary.

An aromatherapy diffuser in your bedroom, office, or living room, with a relaxing oil such as lavender will help you to feel relaxed and help to reduce muscle tension. 


Exercising is about more than just losing weight. By exercising regularly, you are working to maintain the flexibility of your joints.

Just be careful when doing high impact or weight bearing exercises, the strain of running, for instance, may cause further damage. Look into some low impact exercises, such as swimming or water aerobics, which help you flex without adding stress.
